Time management
Contents: working against the clock is common practice. When he decided to work part-time he did the same amount of work as when he worked full-time. Along the lines of deadlines increase productivity, therefore a deadline every day! Just a few expressions which highlight the purpose and necessity of this training. In the first part of this training it is analysed which responsibilities fit well with own assignments and which do not. “The ‘DOING’ model” (definition of assignments, organization, execution, subsequent supervision) is practised thoroughly.
This programme also has so-called “disturbers” and time consuming activities having a relatively low priority. How is one disturbed? How to prioritize correctly? Acting assertively and saying ‘no’ will be discussed. Dealing with stress in a relaxed manner, deadlines and creating peace and quiet in the work place will be discussed in the second part of the training. Training will be closed with practical tips and tricks.
Objective: the study of time management and time control as a crucial aspect of daily work.
Target audience: staff members who want to deal with time / assignments more efficiently and therefore want to improve their global work and performance.
Issues: definition of one’s own work and activities, thinking into the box, priorities, having time versus making time, stress and working under time pressure, that costs time versus what gains time and... to what degree is time flexible?
