Competence Management
Contents: the implementation of competence management ensures that strategy, mission, vision and the individual functions of any employee are in line with each other. Competence management goes hand in hand with competence-oriented development. As soon as the desired competences are known by the own organization, the participants will determine their individual competence profiles. Consequently comes the crucial part: how does one determine – having the competence profiles of staff at one’s disposal – the way how to develop business-like competences? Based on the company strategy, the study method of employees and the areas to be developed all parties are engaged in the second part of the programme is developed.
Objective: implementation and execution of competence management.
Target audience: medium-sized to large companies which take competence-oriented development seriously.
Issues: description of competences with examples of conduct (by the organization), analysis of the possibility to develop competences, Definition of competence profiles (also by participants), description of frequent development activities, development activities in relation to competences, description of study methods, development activities in relation to study methods, etc.
Out of the ordinary: courses for several days with superiors and the staff members involved. Also in combination with the development of missions/visions.
