Working together in an multicultural context
Contents: In teams of globalization multicultural teams are increasingly formed. The development and professionalization of multicultural teams is a trade in its own right. Thanks to its international network Outing Holland has acquired a lot of experience in this regard.
During our programmes, participants actively experience what it is like to work with people who all have a different cultural background. When does cultural diversity turn into a culture gap? What are the crucial success factors for a group of individuals with different cultural backgrounds, in order to transform itself into an efficient, result-oriented team?
Objective: making the effects of cultural diversity within and between teams tangible, visible and debatable.
Target audience: very apt for international groups, but also for groups with very varied levels of education.
Topics: putting up barriers versus making bridges, respect, putting oneself in the other’s place, exchange versus interchange, differences as similarities, colourful thinking versus black and white thinking, tolerance, understanding and being understood, cultural diversity and identity.
