Co-management
Contents: in a lot of organizations co-management equals non-management. Outing Holland develops training programmes in which the works council examines its functioning and therefore its own effectiveness. During the second part of our programme, the works councils will negotiate with director(s). Our programmes are mainly intended for internally divided works councils.
How can mutual differences (i.e. various political movements within a works council) be dealt with and the works council present itself as one? Works council courses are sometimes accompanied by individual coaching of the works council Members or a “coaching on the job” variety. Moreover, our works council programmes can – if desired – also focus on content (legislation on works councils).
Objective: making works councils both inwards and outwards efficient.
Target audience: works councils, internally divided works councils and departmental committees.
Topics: conflict management, common objectives or common interests?, ownership, group or team?, building bridges or tearing down bridges (going from the pyromaniac to the fire brigade principle), saying no versus thinking, individual coaching and/ or coaching on the job.
